Enterprise Business Process Modelling (eBPM)
The P4B software package is an easy-to-use modelling tool. It is suitable for analysing and interpreting or evaluating business structures and processes of varying size. You are free to choose a modelling standard that suits your needs, or create and implement your own. P4B is flexible and offers several modelling alternatives, which you can choose to use, or not at all.
The P4B Core Module is a Microsoft Visio-based modelling tool for Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM). While it includes modelling templates, it also enables you to set up and implement your own models based on your preferred modelling methods.
Microsoft Visio (Modelling front-end)
Microsoft Visio is a powerful, user-friendly tool to model people (their roles and responsibilities), your business' processes, and the technology used graphically. Rules in P4B ensure consistent modelling, while administration controls determine viewing, editing and publishing rights of analysts and roleplayers within the business.
Microsoft SQL Server (Repository)
All your data, including diagrams, notes, rules etc are stored in SQL Server. As all data are stored in one, central place, the process of making back-ups and restoring processes is greatly simplified. The P4B control panel serves to give access to your data.
Industry templates
Industry templates deal with industry-specific aspects, which typically do not form part of core ERP. Templates exist for the following industries:
- Mining & Minerals
- Local Government
- Agriculture
P4B CobiT/ITIL provides a tool for strategic IT planning. It also assists with network documentation for IT audits and revision according to the standards required by the CobiT/ITIL framework.
Dynamics-Ax
P4B interface to Microsoft's ERP system
The interface, Dynamics Ax, allows all phases of a standard Dynamics
AX process to be compared with your unique process, modelled
in P4B Dynamics Ax. This presents an opportunity for
individual adaptations within the ERP system to be (re-)documented.
